Terms of Service for DJ/Event Services & Equipment Rentals
By electronically signing a proposal or agreement with Joy Entertainment LLC, doing business as Ablast Entertainment ("we," "our," or "DJ/Service Provider"), you ("Client") agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
We agree to provide DJ and event-related services as outlined in your individual proposal. Services may include, but are not limited to:

DJ/music performance and coordination

Sound system setup and operation

Lighting and/or special effects (as selected)

Event timeline announcements
2. Equipment Rentals (If Applicable)
Rental services include the use of professional audio, lighting, and special effects equipment. Some items may be subleased from trusted third-party vendors. Equipment must be used responsibly and only for the agreed-upon event.
3. Deposits & Payments

All deposits are non-refundable and secure your event date, services, and equipment.

Final balance is due no later than 14 days before your event.

Unpaid balances may incur a 5% weekly late fee and be subject to collections.

Client agrees to cover all collection costs, legal fees, and court fees associated with overdue payments.
4. Payment Plans
If a payment plan is offered and agreed upon in your proposal, the Client must adhere strictly to the scheduled payment dates and amounts. Failure to make a scheduled payment on time may result in cancellation of services, forfeiture of prior payments, or imposition of late fees. Any modifications to the payment plan must be approved in writing by the DJ/Service Provider.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Events canceled by the Client are not eligible for refunds.

Events may be rescheduled once within one (1) year, based on our availability. The rescheduled event must be of equal or lesser value.
6. Venue Limitations
Clients are responsible for confirming venue rules concerning sound, lighting, fog, or pyrotechnics. If services or equipment are disallowed, no refunds will be issued.
7. Special Effects & Lighting
If special effects (e.g., fog, cold sparks, uplighting, confetti) are selected, Client must confirm approval with their venue at least 2 weeks prior to the event. We are not responsible for denied usage.
8. Safety & Liability
Client agrees to provide a safe environment for our staff and equipment. The Client is responsible for any damage caused by guests, venue staff, or third parties. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or disruptions caused by venue-related conditions.
9. Technical Issues
We maintain and inspect our equipment prior to each event. However, in rare cases of technical failure, we will make every reasonable effort to resolve issues promptly.
10. Legal Enforcement
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In the event of legal dispute, the prevailing party is entitled to reimbursement of reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.
By proceeding with your digital signature via proposal or service agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
